Planning the Photoshoot
Maternity sessions are best captured between 28-32 weeks into pregnancy. We recommend booking your photoshoot 2-3 months in advance to make sure there is availability as we tend to fill up.
The photoshoot takes place in a professional photo studio in Long Island City, one subway stop from midtown Manhattan.
You are welcome to include your significant other in the photoshoot or to bring a friend to accompany you for the experience.
Photoshoot time is not limited - we shoot till we get all looks and ideas documented. Average photoshoot lasts about 2 hours. There is no limit to the number of wardrobe changes.
During the session the photographer will guide you through posing.
Wardrobe & Styling
In order to create the utmost stunning portraits, professional hair and makeup is highly recommended and included in your session.
About 2 hours before your photography session begins, you will get the chance to sit back and relax while our glam team handles the rest.
We provide a selection of maternity gowns, dresses and flowing silks in a selection of colors. If you have styling concepts and would like to bring your own wardrobe you are welcome to bring as many choices as you like.
Male partners should arrive with their wardrobe choices.
A phone consultation is included in your session - at this time we can review your ideas and concepts you would like to create as well as go over wardrobe.
